CBRNI Conference: Safeguarding Our Future
The CBRNI Conference 2024 brought together specialists working on chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and industrial disaster management under the theme Safeguarding Our Future. It was held on 7 March 2024 at Mall Avenue, Lucknow.
What the CBRNI Conference 2024 covered
The conference programme ran across the full CBRNI spectrum. Chemical and industrial hazards remain the most frequent category of incident in India, and they sit alongside the biological, radiological and nuclear threats that demand specialist detection, protection and decontamination capability. Bringing them together in one programme reflects how response actually works on the ground, where the first responder arriving at a scene does not yet know which category they are dealing with.
Why these conferences matter
Events of this kind are where research findings meet the people who have to use them. Scientists, emergency responders, government agencies, industry and academics rarely share a room otherwise, and the exchange of emergency response plans, lessons from exercises, detection methods and forensic practice is one of the clearest ways to raise national preparedness.
Medilytix Digital Convergence was the knowledge partner for the conference.
